The Costa Blanca Cup 2025 opens its registration process for the football and futsal tournaments
The international grassroots tournament par excellence of the summer will be held during the first half of July next year
The Costa Blanca Cup begins its registration process for the 2025 championship. The international grassroots football tournament will reach its 31st edition and will take place between July 6 and 12 next year while the indoor football event, which reaches its twentieth edition, will be held a week earlier, from July 2 to 6. As every year, the Marina Baja and the Marina Alta, with the nerve centre in Benidorm, will become the world centre in training categories. The last edition, this past summer of 2024, brought together a total of 260 teams, with 200 participating in the football tournament and 60 in the indoor tournament, representing 22 countries from the continents of Africa, America, Asia and Europe.
As regards the football championship, the tournament structure is divided into age categories in different sections, both male and female, for the 11-a-side and 8-a-side football competition. You can find out more information by clicking here and you can access the registration of a team here. The same happens with the indoor event, with the male and female teams also divided into age categories (here you have information about it), and you can register by clicking here.
“From the organisation we have been preparing the next edition practically since the day after what was the conclusion of the 30th Costa Blanca Cup and the 19th futsal. We are satisfied with the development of it, but we always have a desire to improve, an intention to positively polish the experience of the participants and work for continuous growth. In 2025, in addition, we will be in a special moment for the indoor football tournament, as we reach two decades”, says the director of the CBC, Fernando Brotons.
The history of this tournament, as is known, already extends for 31 years (in the case of football). And as a sign of its capacity for expansion, as already announced at the last inauguration, the name of the Costa Blanca Cup will reach beyond the seas with the first edition of the Costa Blanca Caribbean Cup, which will be held during Easter 2025 in the Dominican Republic.
